Class of 1978

Yes, it's true. Close to 40 years ago we graduated as the University of California, Irvine Class of 1978.

While many memories over the last four decades have faded (or completely vanished), we vividly remember our Anteater years. We remember our roommates, teammates and dearest friends. And yes, we even remember some of our classes. We are positive that you, too, have fond memories from your time at UCI, whether they are from that year in the dorms, the many sporting events you attended, your stay abroad, meals in the Commons, your classes or your research projects.

Our Goal

In honor of our 40-year reunion, we have set a goal that 10% of our class – at least 128 out of 1,284 alumni – will contribute to our reunion class gift.

Whether it's a gift of $19.78 or $1,978, every gift – regardless of size – is critical to the continued success of UCI. So let’s each give back to our alma mater and help make it an even better place than when we left it.

Your Gift’s Impact

Reunion class gifts support the UCI Fund, UCI’s most powerful giving vehicle, providing critical support to the university. By contributing to our reunion class gift, you are supplying UCI with the strength and stability to remain one of the best universities in the country.
