UCI Center for Hearing Research
The UCI Center for Hearing Research provides an intellectually stimulating and interactive home to advance collaborative and multidisciplinary research, training, and service in hearing loss and other communication disorders.
The CHR, based at UCI, is comprised of 36 researchers, and more than 100 associate researchers from five different prestigious universities in Southern California. In addition to research, we have active symposia and seminar series as well as community outreach. We also teach graduate students – the next generation of researchers dedicated to improving the lives of persons with hearing loss and other communication disorders.
