For the past 25 years, the Center for Educational Partnerships has worked toward the vision that every young person, regardless of background or circumstance, can fulfill their potential through the transformative power of education. This North Star mission of expanding access and equity in education has fueled hundreds of programs, initiatives and partnerships that have changed the course of lives and families throughout Southern California.
Each year, CFEP programs reach more than 15,000 southern California youth, 3,200 teachers and 570 schools forging new pathways to higher education and meaningful careers for the region’s students in greatest need. CFEP programs are free, intentional and comprehensive support systems that integrate families and promote services to prepare diverse youth for the pursuit of higher education.
Donors provide critical support to sustain and enhance our outreach and academic support programs in high schools, and community colleges, support of first-generation college students, workforce development initiatives, research and programs to support equity in schools and the pursuit of STEM degrees, and teacher professional development.
