Vietnamese American Alumni Chapter

The Vietnamese American Alumni Chapter (VAAC) is dedicated to UCI alumni of Viet heritage. Our goal is to maintain a solid bond with UCI through UCI Alumni Association:


  • Share cultural, social, professional functions and benefits with VAAC members
  • Provide support to UCI Vietnamese Student Association
  • Provide mentorships and scholarships to UCI Vietnamese students
  • Build a strong presence for our Vietnamese identity at UCI and around the world

VAAC strives to support community events that is directly benefiting the Vietnamese community:

  • Rose Pageant
  • Teach for Justice
  • Scholarships Two Scholarships
  • Reunion

VAAC supported Teach for Justice: Bridging Communities for AAPI Belonging and Well-Being

Sponsoring the VSA at UCI: such support not only directly contributes to bettering the community, but it also shows that your organization supports Vietnamese culture as well as the diverse and multicultural community that we live in.

UCI Alumni Association Chapter Scholarship Competition
An anonymous alum has sponsored the UCIAA Chapter Challenge! The five UCIAA alumni chapters with the most donors to their chapter scholarship fund will receive a share of $5,000 in bonus funds for their chapter scholarships! Any gift to a UCIAA chapter scholarship fund counts towards this challenge.
