Environmental and Climate Change Literacy Projects
ECCLPs: PK-12 Climate & Environmental Literacy

The Environmental and Climate Change Literacy Projects (ECCLPs) is a pioneering initiative led by the UC and CSU systems alongside key community partners.

As climate disruption escalates, ECCLPs strives to address the urgent need for comprehensive PK-12 climate and environmental education. Our goal is to ensure that all of California’s high school students are literate in climate and environmental justice issues by the time they graduate, empowering them to be informed, engaged and proactive environmental stewards.

Join us in our mission to create a more sustainable future. Your gift to ECCLPs will address the climate crisis at scale by:

  • Developing evidence-based approaches to teaching climate change and environmental justice.
  • Creating resources and professional development opportunities for teachers
  • Advancing PK-12 school-civil partnerships and examining the impact of these collaborations.

Together, we can prepare the next generation to protect the environment that sustains us all.
