Any gift to UC Irvine Women’s Golf, no matter the size, makes a meaningful impact on our program and helps provide our student-athletes with opportunities to excel both academically and athletically. This year, contributions continue to support scholarships and the development of a future dedicated outdoor practice facility on campus, giving our golfers an elite training environment.
Your generosity directly supports our student-athletes and helps the program reach new heights. Thank you for being part of our team’s success!
Together We Zot - Women's Golf
As a result of the landmark settlement in the NCAA vs. House case, NCAA D1 institutions are entering a new era and now provide financial assistance to student-athletes as part of Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) activities.
That's where Together We Zot comes in. The Together We Zot Fund is managed through the UC Irvine Foundation and is a 501(c)(3) organization.
This initiative is a bold step forward. It's not just a donation — it's a targeted investment in the success of our student-athletes and the long-term strength of UC Irvine Athletics.
The Together We Zot - Women's Golf fund is exclusively dedicated to providing scholarships, room and board stipends, summer school, institutional licensing (NIL) directly to student-athletes, and Alston awards, ensuring UC Irvine stays at the forefront of innovation and impact in college sports.
Together We Zot is about more than just funding. It's a commitment to:
- Recruiting and Retaining Top Talent
- Maximizing each student-athlete's potential
- Keeping UC Irvine Athletics nationally competitive
- Providing transformational support as rules evolve
Women's Golf History of Success
The UC Irvine Women’s Golf program has built a tradition of excellence, with three NCAA Championship appearances, six NCAA Regional berths, five Big West titles, and three individual conference champions. The Anteaters have produced three All-Americans, three Big West Golfers of the Year, and 16 WGCA All-American Scholars, while claiming 15 team tournament wins and 18 individual titles.
In 2025, UC Irvine captured the UCR Soboba Classic, the program’s second title under head coach Margo Castillo Dionisio. Alona Avery earned Big West Freshman of the Year and first-team all-conference honors, while Katherine Gerbing and Katelyn Kong earned second-team and honorable mention accolades, with Kong competing at the U.S Women’s Open and U.S. Women’s Amateur over the summer. Kong reigns as the 59th California Women’s Amateur Champion and is also a participant for the 2026 Augusta National Women’s Championship.
This fall, the Anteaters set a school record with a second-round 279 at the Golf Iconic Classic, recording 16 birdies and solidifying their place in program history. With a strong legacy and continued success in 2025, UC Irvine Women’s Golf remains a competitive and a top 75 nationally recognized program.
