When you sign up to be a Giving Day Ambassador, you'll automatically participate in our Me+3 Challenge. Here's how it works:
- Encourage at least 3 people to donate using your personal link
- Score an exclusive 60th Anniversary UC Irvine tumbler when you reach 3 or more donors
- Top Ambassador Prize: The ambassador who recruits the most donors will earn $1,000 in bonus funds for their cause!

What is an Ambassador?
UC Irvine’s Giving Day campaign will take place on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, and our Ambassadors will be key to its success. Ambassadors act as peer-to-peer influencers through personal and professional networks, relationships and social media platforms.
How much time do I need to commit to be an Ambassador?
We know everyone is busy, so that’s why we’ve made sure that becoming a Giving Day Ambassador is simple and requires very little time outside of:
- A brief review of the online Ambassador Handbook
- Making a gift
- Spreading the word about Giving Day
