UC Irvine’s Giving Day provides crucial support for Donald Bren School of Information & Computer Sciences (ICS) undergraduate and graduate students and their amazing cutting-edge research, and investment in the future workforce. ICS is filled with entrepreneurs, innovators, future professors and researchers who are dedicated to making the world a better, safer place. Whether you contribute to one of our named funds supporting a specific area close to you, or give to the ICS Dean’s Excellence Fund, which is a support fund that goes to our areas of greatest need, you will be making a significant impact on ICS and the lives of our students.
More importantly, you will be investing in the future by allowing important research to continue in the areas of AI, bioinformatics, cybersecurity, data science and software engineering, to name just a few of the key research curricula that have become the backbone of ICS. With your help, ICS students can and will remain at the forefront of computer science, informatics and statistics, ensuring no student is left behind.
ICS Student Lab Renovation
For decades, the ICS Student Lab has been a central gathering place where students study, collaborate, and build community. The school is seeking your support to modernize the lab by upgrading desks, seating, and flexible group study areas. These enhancements will create a more comfortable, collaborative, and technology-enabled environment that reflects the excellence of ICS and supports both current students and generations to come.
We invite you to support the ICS Student Lab Renovation with a gift to the Donald Bren School of ICS - Deans Excellence Fund.
Student Activities Support
Join us in supporting the 15 ICS student clubs and invest in student success and leadership! Your generosity strengthens community through mentorship and student-led events, while advancing career readiness with mock interviews, industry speakers, and professional workshops. Funding also enables participation in hackathons, competitions, and community service—providing real-world experience that prepares ICS students to lead and make meaningful impact.
We invite you to support our student clubs with a gift to the Bren ICS One Time Gifts fund.
