As a premier public institution for higher learning, UC Irvine’s mission has always been to improve society by fostering knowledge and providing a world-class education regardless of someone’s background. Your thoughtful and generous support will ignite life-changing opportunities for some of our most gifted and talented students. TOGETHER, we can equip UC Irvine students with tools that build on their continued, unyielding dedication for success in higher education and in life.
TOGETHER, we can help create a lasting impact through scholarship support!
Your gift to undergraduate scholarships will assist with the University’s efforts to expand access to higher education while helping to create a clear path to academic excellence. Undergraduate scholarships are the most direct way to address the financial challenges and difficulties that exist for many brilliant young people seeking opportunities in higher education. Scholarship opportunities assist UC Irvine in yielding the most accomplished students while also closing the gap in the retention of first generation and low-income students.
Every undergraduate scholarship helps move students closer to crossing the stage, achieving their goals, and shaping a better future.

Student Testimonials
“I am very grateful to have been chosen for this scholarship and to have support on my journey. I hope to give back to students one day with a scholarship as it has made such a difference to me.”

“Coming from a low-income household, higher education, especially at a UC institution, was once seen as something to dream of. But learning about scholarships and other financial aid showed me that these educational dreams could be fulfilled. Paying for college isn't easy, but I value my education and time here at UC Irvine, so it is an immense aid and privilege to receive this.”
- Joseph Bustamante ’29, recipient of the John Neville Class of 1965 Endowed Scholarship
