Welcome to the Korean American Alumni Chapter!


WHO WE ARE: The Korean American Alumni Chapter is dedicated to UC Irvine alumni of Korean heritage. Our goal is to maintain a solid bond by sharing cultural, social, professional functions and benefits with our chapter members, providing support to Korean American student associations and offering mentorships and scholarships to UC Irvine students. Through these initiatives, we hope to build a strong presence for our Korean culture and heritage at UC Irvine and around the world.

WHY SUPPORT CHAPTER SCHOLARSHIPS:  Many of us received scholarships during our time as students at UCI, so we know from personal experience that financial support for the costs associated with education can be life changing. Not only do scholarships offer resources that empower and allow students to fully immerse themselves in the UCI experience, but they also create a sense of community in which our fellow Anteaters feel welcomed and supported as they navigate through their educational journeys.

Your contribution to any of the chapter scholarship funds not only helps deserving students but also unlocks a wonderful gift for first-generation graduate student fellowships. When 150 total gifts are made to participating UCIAA Chapter Scholarship funds, a donation of $1,500 from Elsa and Nick Yocca will be unlocked to support first-generation graduate division students.
