The Sustainability Resource Center (SRC) is a hub for students, providing resources, education and programming to forward environmental balance, economic vitality and social equity. Students, as well as campus and community partners, are invited to share a platform from which to address the root causes of ecological disruption, deepen understandings of the interdependence of all life, and engage the challenges and solutions of sustainability in a campus, community and global context.
The SRC is the first touch point for the UC Irvine community to find opportunities in sustainability at UC Irvine and in the surrounding communities. The SRC offers a variety of programs, events and resources.
What Your Gifts Provide
Your Giving Day gift will help fund climate resilience trainings that we provide to undergraduate and graduate students completely free of charge. Gift will also help provide fellowships and internships for students to do applied sustainability work on campus and within the community. Finally, your support helps facilitate relationships between students and future sustainability careers to help build sustainable communities.
- Every $50 helps support a student participating in direct sustainability service opportunities in the community or a garden bed in the Ants-in-Your-Plants Garden.
- Every $100 helps support a student participating in the UC Irvine Student Leadership Institute for Climate Resilience (SLICR) training program.
- Every $500 helps provide an academic quarter internship for climate and environmental justice work through Campus as a Living Lab (CLL).
If you are unable to support financially, we encourage you to engage with the UC Irvine student community by working with us in other ways. Investing in the future of student sustainability is one of the biggest ways we can help make a sustainable future together as a united UC Irvine community.
Thank you for helping to build a sustainable future together!
