Latino Alumni Chapter

Challenging times are even more challenging for students. Any contribution to our chapter scholarship will make a profound impact.

The purpose of the Latino Chapter is to enrich the lives of alumni and engage them in a lifelong advancement of UC Irvine. To meet the needs of an ever expanding alumni population, an international network of dedicated alumni volunteers that work hard to represent UCI Alumni in the Anteater community.

In light of recent events, our chapter is also supporting two campus programs which are instrumental in ensuring that students of varying identities and backgrounds feel welcomed and supported at UCI as they pursue their academic passions:

The Office of Inclusive Excellence drives UCI’s commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion. Their office provides campus accountability, organize training and education, conduct responsive research, and build and sustain partnerships with universities and colleges that share UCI’s commitment to inclusive excellence. The Center for Black Cultures, Resources and Research (CBCRR) established in 2016 encourages, cultivates and supports the intellectual, scientific, and cultural development of students within a just, safe, vibrant, inclusive, culturally supportive and socio-ecologically sustainable space – a home away from home – where Black students can thrive and reach for their genius. The Center’s programs, services, and resources focus on Black students’ health, wellness, vitality, academic success, and professional development.
