The SSIHI Integrative Community Clinic Program
Community-based and patient-centered, integrative & naturopathic medical care is at the root of the SSIHI Community Integrative Health initiative. Our goal is to deliver integrative, whole-body, and system-based healthcare to individuals in the community who have limited or no opportunity to access these services, while creating opportunities for collaboration with local organizations who share our vision.
In collaboration with Serve the People Community Health Center in Santa Ana and with the support of Eleanor Tang/Kay Family Foundation and the Estate of Lois Eisenberg, we launched the Community Integrative Clinic and have been serving underserved patients since January 2018.
In addition to growing our naturopathic medical services, we are working with community partners to expand our services to include acupuncture, nutrition, and yoga therapy. We work collaboratively with a team of providers including doctors, nurse practitioners, and the medical staff to deliver a team-based model of care. In the upcoming months we are looking at expanding our services to include additional sites and are focusing efforts on research and outreach in order to develop educational and clinical initiatives. Our vision is to ensure that integrative health care services are available and accessible to all members in the greater Orange County community.

Just $25 provides a visit for an uninsured patient, or a contribution to our $25,000 goal for seed funding for research to track outcomes of providing integrative care to patients with diabetes.
