In order to be successful today, businesses and communities need leaders and workers who can communicate effectively, diagnose and solve complex problems and think strategically. For 25 years the Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program (UROP) has partnered with businesses and the local community to augment our students’ educations with the purpose of producing qualified, career ready and well rounded leaders. Each year over 2,000 students from every major and discipline conduct a unique, student-led project from start to finish and present their research at the annual UROP Research Symposium.
