UCI Giving Day 2019

At UCI we understand that not every student comes from the same background and experiences and it is our goal to make sure that every student can succeed at and beyond their time at UCI. Some of our students need additional resources to adjust to life at UCI or close the achievement gaps with their peers. Student Success Initiatives (SSI) is dedicated to serving and assisting the transitions of low-income students, first-generation students, undocumented students, former foster youth, transfer students, adult-learners, students with dependents, and students with disabilities. Through helping students’ transition to college by providing scholarships for tutoring and resources, like book and computer loans, and offering individualized academic advising, SSI helps all students at UCI succeed.
