UCI Giving Day 2019

The mission of the UCI Latino Alumni Chapter is to provide a platform for Latino alumni and UCI supporters for the benefit and advancement of the University, students, faculty, staff and the Latino community.

What does our chapter do?

• Provides professional and social networking opportunities for UCI Latino alumni and the extended alumni community.
• Promotes and encourages professional advancement through inclusivity, social, intellectual, cultural and education resources at UCI and existing professional networks.
• Provides financial support and mentorship opportunities for UCI students.
• Supports the overall advancement of UCI by building and nurturing a culture of philanthropy and leadership among UCI alumni and being a proactive voice for UCI Latino alumni.

HELP US WIN THE CHAPTER CHALLENGE!

We've joined the challenge to see which chapter can get the most unique* alumni donors. The more alumni donors we get, the higher we climb on the leader board. It’s not how much you give – just THAT you give!

 

Get 10 alumni to give $10 @ 10 a.m. or 10 p.m.! UCIAA is making a special shout out announcement to the chapter who has the most unique alumni donors during the 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. hours!

*Unique means a donor giving multiple times will only count as one donor.

Note: Donations to chapters will be designated 50% to support student scholarships and 50% to support chapter programming. If you want 100% of your donation to go to either chapter programming or student scholarships, contact Wendy Day-Brown at daybrown@uci.edu.

The UCI Alumni Association's mission is to enrich the lives of alumni and engage them in a lifelong advancement of UC Irvine. To meet the needs of an ever expanding alumni population, a national network of dedicated alumni volunteers work hard to represent the UCI Alumni in the Latino community.
