UCI’s Department of Art History, in collaboration with Friends of Art History, is raising scholarships and fellowships for undergraduate and graduate student research and travel, both domestically and internationally. Your gift enables Art History students to gain unique insights and perspectives on their research, share their findings with fellow academics at conferences and symposia, and establish important connections with mentors and peers. These stipends are crucial for critical inquiry and academic development and are not funded in typical undergraduate scholarships or graduate fellowships.
Our 2019 Giving Day funding goal is to raise $10,000, which will allow three students to pursue their research domestically and internationally.
Thanks to an incredibly generous anonymous donation, your gift will be matched dollar-for-dollar up to $5,000 in support of our Art History students.
Friends of Art History (“FOAH”) at UCI helps provide opportunities and financial support for students to gain experience and skills that complement their academic studies. Since 2011, FOAH has provided over 100 students with awards and maintains partnerships throughout California, including the Laguna Art Museum, Orange County Museum of Art, The Bowers Museum, the Huntington, and the Getty, among others.
