Gifts to UCI Women’s Basketball support their efforts to take the team in 2023 to the Guadeloupe Islands for the program’s second-ever foreign tour. Coach Tamara Inoue's focus isn't only on guiding the Anteaters to excellence on the court, but also in providing unique experiential educational opportunities for student-athletes.
Embarking on a foreign tour allows our student-athletes to play against top international competition, while also giving them the unique opportunity to immerse themselves in a different culture. It is a learning experience both on and off the court. In addition, our student-athletes get the chance to give back by organizing primary school visits and free youth clinics.
