The UCI Black Alumni Chapter is a registered chapter of the UC Irvine Alumni Association. Its purpose is to promote mentoring between alumni and undergraduates, serve as a recruitment resource for UCI to high school and community college students, and provide networking opportunities between alumni. In 2023, as in past years, we are raising money to provide scholarships for current UCI students. 

Since the chapter was established in 2014, it has given 26 students scholarships totaling $16,000!

UCI Alumni Association Chapter Scholarship Competition
An anonymous alum has sponsored the UCIAA Chapter Challenge! The five UCIAA alumni chapters with the most donors to their chapter scholarship fund will receive a share of $5,000 in bonus funds for their chapter scholarships! Any gift to a UCIAA chapter scholarship fund counts towards this challenge.
