Let’s be real. Getting the call to “donate” is not the first thing you want to hear from your alma mater. Plus, donating sounds like you have to give a lot in order to make an impact.
We get it. But, if we ALL donated a cup of coffee, an hour of our pay, that $10 acai bowl – together we could help pay it forward, little by little.
We’re the Young Alumni Council – a ‘think tank’ of UCI graduates of the last “ten-ish” years dedicated to creating pathways for fellow young alumni to achieve personal and professional success, all while engaging with UCI.
Over the past five years, we’ve been able to award a total of $2,500 to incoming student leaders, all thanks to our UCI Giving Day supporters. We did it $5, $10, $15 at a time.
Our goal this year is to raise $1,000 for our scholarship. That’s only…

We are proud of the ways that our students – our future young alumni – are finding their place on campus and becoming change makers in the Anteater community.
