The UC Irvine Graduate Division is committed to supporting the next generation of scholars who will drive groundbreaking research and create meaningful change. This Giving Day, we are seeking to grow the support provided by the Tyler's Tribe Foundation Endowment for ALS Research, a fellowship established in partnership with the Tyler's Tribe Foundation, that will empower graduate students dedicated to advancing ALS research and improving patient care.
Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) is a devastating disease that impacts thousands of families each year, bringing not only physical challenges but also emotional and financial hardship. In honor of Tyler Decker, Tyler’s Tribe Foundation has been a steadfast source of support, helping patients and caregivers access essential care. Now, they are expanding their mission to invest in future researchers—right here at UC Irvine.
The Tyler’s Tribe Foundation was founded by Meghan Decker after her brother Tyler was diagnosed with ALS at just 26 years old. The ultimate goal of the foundation is to find the cure for ALS.
Your Giving Day gift will provide additional current-use funding to a graduate student fellowship that will drive innovative treatments, enhance patient care, and develop new strategies to support caregivers. Your gift directly fuels the research that will bring us closer to breakthroughs in ALS and other neurological diseases, ensuring that those affected have hope for a brighter future.
Together, we can empower scholars, push the boundaries of research, and change lives. Join us in making a lasting impact.
