The Future Leaders Initiative (FLI) equips underserved Southern California students with business education, financial literacy, and career preparation. Through in-person courses, FLI enhances college readiness and supports careers in business, technology, and entrepreneurship with UC Irvine’s expert faculty and resources.
FLI began with 41 students and has grown to 135 participants in 2024, marking a 229% increase. When surveyed, 90% of parents believed the program is changing the way their child thinks about the job they will obtain after college.
By supporting the Future Leaders Initiative, you help top high school and community college students engage with industry professionals and guest speakers, tour local companies and learn about job opportunities within Orange County, and most importantly, gain confidence in achieving their own success through higher education.
