Thank you for considering the Campuswide Honors Collegium (CHC) this UCI Giving Day! The support of our alumni, family, friends, and community members is what continues to make the CHC one of the top honors programs in the nation. This year we are excited to offer some special thank you gifts in return for your support!
The CHC is a community of motivated learners dedicated to scholastic excellence and personal growth that is supported by the resources of a major research university. The unique opportunities provided by the CHC create a supportive learning community that allows students to engage with faculty and other motivated students and helps them make the most of their education.
This Giving Day, we ask you to help our students write the rest of their honors stories. Your generosity directly fuels student programming and initiatives aimed at fostering success. Here's how your donation can make a difference:
- $250: Enables the hosting of a social event like Coffee Hour, facilitating valuable networking opportunities for students.
- $500: Sends a student to a professional development conference or corporate program, broadening their horizons and enhancing their skills.
- $1,000: Supports major Campuswide Honors community events such as Battle of the Brains and the Senior Banquet, creating memorable experiences for our students.
UC Irvine Giving Day is the most important fundraising day of the year for the CHC, with gifts from this day amounting to over 75% of CHC’s annual support. Every gift in any amount helps CHC students make the most of their UCI experience.
Thank you gifts:
- $50 or more will receive former CHC Dean Ted Wright’s favorite cookie recipe with chocolate chips
- $100 or more will receive a personalized thank you note from a CHC student
- $150 or more will receive a limited edition CHC vinyl sticker
If you are unable to contribute financially, there are other meaningful ways to support our students' journeys:
- Spread the word about UCI Giving Day to your friends and your community.
- Mentor current honors students by joining the Campuswide Honors group on the Anteater Network.
- Complete the Alumni Involvement form to learn about opportunities specific to your interests.
- Engage with our social media content by following our accounts, joining our groups, and commenting on/liking/sharing posts that resonate with you.
