UC Irvine Giving Day 2025

UC Irvine Men’s Water Polo has been a force in collegiate athletics since the University opened its doors in the mid-1960’s. Producing 3 National Championships, 16 Olympic athletes, hundreds of All-American’s and All-Academic student-athletes, and a Cutino award winner, the equivalent of football’s Heisman Trophy. During the 2023 season the team won the inaugural Big West regular season and tournament Championships, and qualified for the NCAA tournament for the first time in 30 years. The 2024 team went undefeated in the Big West regular season and captured its second consecutive regular season title. Our student-athletes have an array of academic interests and are preparing for careers in medicine, business, engineering, public health, education, sustainability, and much more.

Gifts to the Men’s Water Polo program provide direct support to our student-athletes and their programmatic activity. Your support ensures the opportunity for these young Anteaters to pursue their academic and professional passions, represent UC Irvine in the sport that they love with pride and honor, and develop lifelong friendships and family with their fellow students.
