Black Alumni Reunion Group PhotoWHY SUPPORT CHAPTER SCHOLARSHIPS: Many of us received scholarships during our time as students at UCI, so we know from personal experience that financial support for the costs associated with education can be life-changing. Not only do scholarships offer resources that empower and allow students to fully immerse themselves in the UCI experience, but they also create a sense of community in which our fellow Anteaters feel welcomed and supported as they navigate through their educational journeys.

Over the past several years, our chapter has raised over $23,000 and awarded 20 Anteaters with scholarships. In 2024 alone, we had 6 scholarship recipients! For 2025, we ask you all to help us award even more students. Giving Day 2025 is an opportunity for us to donate money on behalf of the UC Irvine Black Alumni Chapter. One hundred percent of the funds raised on this day go toward scholarships for our students.
