One of the most impactful ways that donors are able to enhance UCI students’ experiences is providing a gift contribution to the Division of Undergraduate Education (DUE) Dean’s Excellence Fund. With the mission to support and enrich the academic experiences of undergraduate students so that they succeed and thrive, DUE programs and services give students a variety of opportunities to explore and reach their academic potential. From the Capital Internship Program (UCDC) to the International Student Excellence Program (ISEP) and the LARC Tutoring Center, our students and faculty are actively using their talents, passion, and education to make an impact in their communities and around the globe.
Initiatives like piloting innovative internship programs to prepare students for career, changing curriculum to implement the best active learning teaching practices and helping students that struggle due to sudden life changes are just some of the ways our Dean’s Excellence Fund directly makes an impact in students’ lives.
