Together We Zot - Mens Tennis
As a result of the landmark settlement in the NCAA vs. House case, NCAA D1 institutions are entering a new era and now provide financial assistance to student-athletes as part of Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) activities.
That's where Together We Zot comes in. The Together We Zot Fund is managed through the UC Irvine Foundation and is a 501(c)(3) organization.
This initiative is a bold step forward. It's not just a donation — it's a targeted investment in the success of our student-athletes and the long-term strength of UC Irvine Athletics.
The Together We Zot - Mens Tennis fund is exclusively dedicated to providing scholarships, room and board stipends, summer school, institutional licensing (NIL) directly to student-athletes, and Alston awards, ensuring UC Irvine stays at the forefront of innovation and impact in college sports.
Together We Zot is about more than just funding. It's a commitment to:
- Recruiting and Retaining Top Talent
- Maximizing each student-athlete's potential
- Keeping UC Irvine Athletics nationally competitive
- Providing transformational support as rules evolve
Mens Tennis History of Success
UC Irvine men’s tennis continued its winning tradition in 2025, claiming its second straight Big West Championship and third in four years. The program, one of the most successful in the conference, has 17 Big West team titles, five tournament championships, six NCAA team titles, and 38 All-Americans in its history.
The Anteaters finished 18–6, the most wins in a season since 2015, and made their 14th NCAA Division I Championship appearance, including ranked wins over No. 62 Dartmouth and No. 34 UC Santa Barbara. UC Irvine ended the season No. 44 nationally, No. 8 in the Southwest Region, and No. 10 in the ITA Mid-Major Team Rankings.
Last season, UC Irvine defeated Pepperdine in 4–3 comeback victory over the Waves, ending a 23-match series drought with its first win over the Waves since 1992. Seniors Rithvik Krishna and Hiroki Sakagawa delivered clutch, match-clinching singles victories to topple a perennial NCAA Tournament program who finished as #25 in the ITA rankings at the end of the season.
Senior Noah Zamora was named Big West Player of the Year, going 21–9 in singles and 7–0 in conference play, including three victories at the Big West Championships. He finished No. 66 in the ITA singles rankings, leading a team that combined individual excellence with historic program success in 2025. Zamora advanced to the final of the ITA Southwest Regional singles, qualifying him for the NCAA individual singles tournament, where he would go on to advance to the second round.
