Black Alumni Chapter

“Black Excellence Yesterday, Today and Forever.” This theme reflects the type of students and alumni that have passed through the doors of UCI and the quality of current students.

Giving Day 2024 is an opportunity for us to donate money on behalf of the UCI Black Alumni Chapter. This is a 24-hour event where alumni, friends, family and others can donate to our chapter. One hundred percent of the funds raised on this day go toward scholarships for our students.

Over the past several years, our chapter has given out thousands of dollars to students. We have also worked closely with many students and student organizations to help them during their collegiate journey. The cost of school today is expensive. More importantly, many of us remember those days of having limited resources and funds to help us make it through.

This year we are asking everyone to support us more than we ever have over any of the previous years during Giving Day. This academic year began with an unprecedented turnout and fundraising amount at the 2023 Black Alumni Chapter reunion.

Our goal for 2024 Giving Day is to continue our record-breaking level of support. Today’s students are our future, and they represent “Black Excellence, Forever.” Simply said, help us help them.

Thank you in advance for your continued support of the UCI Black Alumni Chapter.
