We are expanding access to world-class care at UCI Health — Irvine, our new, state-of-the-art medical campus at the corner of Jamboree Road and Birch Street. It is poised to bring coastal and south Orange County residents unparalleled expertise and the finest evidence-based care.

The all-electric medical campus will include a 144-bed acute care hospital with a 24-hour emergency department, the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and Ambulatory Care building and the Joe C. Wen & Family Center for Advanced Care.

As a result, we can provide additional first-of-a-kind clinical trials, life-enhancing therapies and complex procedures only found at the world’s top research and academic health institutions — right in your own backyard.

The first patients are expected this spring at the Joe C. Wen & Family Center for Advanced Care. The Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and Ambulatory Care building is slated to open later this year and the hospital will begin serving patients in 2025.
