Armenian American Alumni Chapter

Welcome to the UCI Armenian American Alumni Chapter!

We have a deep commitment of collaboration within the UC Irvine community. Over the last five years, we developed strong relationships with our vibrant UCI Armenian Student Association (ASA), our esteemed Armenian UCI professors, the UCI Center for Armenian Studies and the greater Armenian American Anteater community through live and virtual programs. We strive to build bridges within our community and nurture our relationships with all other UCI Alumni chapters! We were honored as the “Most Collaborative Chapter” by the UCI Alumni Association in 2021.

This year for Giving day, we strive to Increase the number of book scholarships for our first-year and transfer students. Awarding these $500-$1,000 scholarships to eligible students is a huge source of pride for our alumni chapter and a fundamental part of our mission as a chapter. Created with donations from alumni and UCI friends, book scholarships provide greater financial security and the opportunity to connect almost immediately with the UCI Armenian American network.

In 2023, we awarded three $1,000 scholarships to Anna Vardanyan, Levon Gyulgyulyan and Andrew Berberian. Our scholarship recipients have immersed themselves into their studies at UCI as well as engaging socially and culturally via the ASA and Greek organizations and other clubs at UCI. For a second year, we received $1,000 from the UCI ASA, which boosted our award-giving significantly and we could not be more grateful to this student organization for their donation.

This Giving Day, help us provide book scholarships for more of our deserving Anteaters!

Show your support for UCI scholars and contribute.

Any amount is appreciated and directly benefits UCI undergraduates in their academic journey.
