Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing alumni, scroll down to see more information on how you can support students – future nurse leaders – this Giving Day through the Give Your Grad Year campaign.
Our alumni are making groundbreaking advancements in health and wellness. Whether as leaders within healthcare systems, providing exceptional care to individuals, families or communities, or furthering science through research. You can join us in our mission to create a healthier tomorrow by supporting our students today.
Consider a gift that helps define the future of healthcare by supporting those who will provide it in the decades to come. Your gift today will provide our students with essential supplies used throughout their education. These supplies include IV bags, tubing, syringes and needles, dressing, blood pressure cuffs, urinary catheter kits, abscess and wound care kits, and more. By providing our students with these supplies, we are easing some of their financial burden and giving them the tools they need to focus solely on their curriculum, which will help them succeed in becoming registered nurses serving our communities. These supplies will be provided to our incoming students in a special tote bag.
Be a part of the collective effort to positively impact the lives of students today. A gift of any amount will contribute to the development of bright medical minds and new ideas for addressing complex healthcare challenges. By making a gift, you play a crucial role in our students’ ongoing success and future accomplishments, which will transform our region and beyond.
Calling all UC Irvine Sue & Bill Gross School of Nursing alumni – Give Your Grad Year This Giving Day!
We know our alumni are transforming healthcare with humanity in mind, and we thank you! Today, we ask our alumni members to come together to support current students to ensure they can do the same in their upcoming careers. This Giving Day, we are counting on you to reconnect with our school and show our students that they are part of a larger community that values their success as future nurse leaders.
With over 800 alumni members, we have the power to make a difference in the lives of our students. We hope to achieve this on Giving Day by encouraging each alumni member to make a gift corresponding to their graduation year. For example, if you graduated in 2023, we ask that you make a gift in the amount of $20.23, $202.30 or even $2,023.00! Any amount will make an impact. With 100% alumni participation, we can reach our goal to raise over $15,000 to provide all incoming students with the essential supplies they need to study for their registered nursing licensure.
