The UCI Henry Samueli School of Engineering inspires ingenuity, creates opportunities, and unleashes innovation to solve society’s most pressing problems. We bring together faculty and students from six academic departments – biomedical, chemical and biomolecular, civil and environmental, electrical and computer science, materials science and engineering, and mechanical and aerospace – to advance solutions-oriented engineering.
The Samueli School is a place where our outstanding faculty, students, staff, and alumni, can make big things happen and have a real and positive impact on the world around us. We provide our Anteater engineers’ academic success and career readiness through student experiences from problem-based, hands-on engineering courses to challenging research opportunities. Our graduates leave our programs and become the next generation of scientists, educators, policymakers, corporate leaders, or entrepreneurs.
Today, you have the opportunity to help further our impact and help us lead the way to social mobility and strive for diversity and impactful research. Help us promote an environment where our engineers have the tools they need to build a better world and help us propel our school to new heights.
Help us create a brilliant future for tomorrow’s engineers by providing financial support for our students so they can focus on their academic careers. Many students struggle to afford costs beyond tuition such as their basic needs for food, essentials, and housing. Your contributions can help students focus on their ability to research, design, build, and test, and reach their full potential in creating cutting-edge technology and research.
Diversity and Inclusion
The Stacey Nicholas Office of Access and Inclusion (OAI) was established in 2015 to recruit, retain, and graduate talented students from historically excluded and under-represented populations in Engineering and ICS. Help us recruit and support the best and brightest students, and advance the American dream for the next generation. Your gift will greatly help us strive to be a place where people from all backgrounds and groups are not only welcome but where everyone feels like they belong and can thrive professionally and personally.
Dean’s Excellence Fund
Here at the Samueli School, multidisciplinary research is woven into the fabric of how we do things. As we collaborate and partner with industry, state, and federal agencies, we promote the transfer of research far beyond the campus boundary. Your support allows us to keep fostering these key partnerships to create game-changing strategic priorities and efforts to benefit society.
