UCI Department of Dermatology aims to be a world leader in the investigation and treatment of skin disease fueled by discovery, inclusion, and medical excellence. 

It is our mission to provide leading-edge training for our residents and fellows. Our vibrant educational program is designed to help our trainees gain expertise in the full range of medical and surgical dermatology with exposure to multi-disciplinary care, groundbreaking therapies, and a variety of research opportunities. Our world-class faculty is dedicated to preparing physicians for careers in Academia, private practice, and administration.

• Medical Student Research Fellowship
   Provides a current medical student with in-depth experience in basic science, clinical or translational skin research. 
• Resident Research Program Support
   Provides critical funding for resident research projects
• Resident Away Rotations
   Provides support for our residents who are interested in outstanding educational experiences and enables our residents to attend away rotations without financial implications.
• Physician-Scientist Training Support
   Helps foster the academic career aspirations of senior residents who are interested in becoming physician-scientists.
