CENTER FOR DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION

The Center for Digital Transformation is a Center of Excellence at The Paul Merage School of Business. Our mission is to advance the competitiveness and productivity of businesses in the digital economy. As an educational organization, we focus on developing and communicating new knowledge central to developing leaders for a digitally driven world.

Amidst a shortage of digital-savvy talent, from technical capabilities to data-driven and tech-savvy managers and executives, the Center is an important resource for preparing students and the broader business community for success in our digital future. Through research, education, and community events, including our Digital Leadership Series and our signature conference, the Center aims to help the workforce develop their capabilities to match the demands of the digital world.

Our current offerings are:

Digital Leadership Series: A free, quarterly virtual public forum featuring timely discussions with industry leaders and academics on business, macroeconomic, and societal questions related to digital, such as cybersecurity, technology and productivity, economic and societal impacts of AI, distributed work, and more.

Road to Reinvention Conference: The Center’s annual signature event. This conference brings together academics, students, managers, and executives to engage in conversations on developing and executing on a positive agenda for digital business transformation, one that helps build stronger businesses and a better world.

Education: We offer an immersion program in digital transformation, a set of courses and experiences, to prepare MBA students for success in the digital economy. 

Research: Participating faculty conduct research on a wide array of digital themes, including human-machine collaboration, the management of technology, and the impacts of digital technology on businesses, the economy, and society.

Chief Information Officer (CIO) Roundtable: A knowledge-sharing forum for the most senior technology executives aimed at helping them lead their companies in a digitally driven world.
