OUR 6TH ANNUAL GIVING DAY WAS A SUCCESS! IF YOU MISSED THE OPPORTUNITY TO PARTICIPATE BUT WOULD LIKE TO SUPPORT UCI, YOU CAN STILL GIVE BY CLICKING HERE
FRESH Basic Needs Hub

The FRESH Basic Needs Hub at UCI is a student-initiated effort that promotes equitable access to basic needs through student empowerment, community collaboration, and institutional integration. Our aim is to shift cultural consciousness towards understanding the fulfillment of basic needs, which include food and housing security – a guaranteed right for every person. We offer a wide variety of life skill-programming and direct support services to promote basic needs security amongst UCI undergraduate and graduate students.

Your contributions will go toward sustaining and improving FRESH resources, namely:

  • Meal swipes which allow students access to well-balanced, hot meals at our campus dining commons
  • Increasing nutritious variety available at the UCI Food Pantry & Mobile Food Pantry
  • Increase CalFresh eligibility outreach efforts to provide sustainable grocery support for students
  • Temporary housing for students experiencing housing insecurity or homelessness

This Giving Day 2022, we are confident that you can help us achieve our mission of making UCI a basic needs-secure campus. #GiveFRESH

For more information on our resources and services, please refer to our website at www.basicneeds.uci.edu or Instagram @ucifresh.

Thank you for your generous support!
