Public health is fluid and dynamic. It’s different every day. One of our challenges as multidisciplinary practitioners is to respond to those changes. Since March 2020, the global pandemic has shown us how important public health is. Our students, faculty, alumni and researchers have dedicated themselves to impacting the COVID-19 crisis through early community education, contact tracing training, student run COVID-19 hotline, antibody studies and more. Giving Day is your chance to support the public health community and give back to future generations of public health professionals.
The UCI Program in Public Health is using our faculty expertise in social determinants to enhance the health and well-being of all populations, locally and globally, while battling the impacts of disease and disparities. We are training a pipeline of future leaders in health who will become a workforce that reflects our diverse society.
Thanks to the leadership of our Public Health Alumni Chapter Board, this Giving Day all gifts made to the UCI Program in Public Health will go towards the first ever alumni supported student scholarship.
Public health is all around us. WE are public health, and we are looking forward to a brilliant future. We hope you consider making a gift to the Program in Public Health today. Every gift counts, no matter the amount, as we strive to create a brilliant future.
Thank you for your support!
