The Eye Mobile for Children program transforms the lives of children in Orange County by delivering high-quality vision care to children—at absolutely no cost to the families.
The goal of this program is to ensure that all of Orange County’s young children have the vision they need to succeed in school and in life. This model public health program addresses the access barriers to vision care encountered by underserved young children and their families.
The Eye Mobile for Children program provides essential vision care services including, screening and detection; comprehensive examinations and data management of those at risk; and treatment, provision of eyewear and monitoring of compliance.
This unique program is embraced throughout the community and is giving underserved, low-income young children the vision they need to succeed in school and life.
