UCI Parent and Family Campaign for Student Success
When everybody gives, we all gain.

Throughout this remarkable and challenging time, UCI has continued to be a beacon to some of the brightest young minds. This year, UCI received more undergraduate applications than any other UC, making it one of the most desired universities in the country. In this spirit of perseverance and resilience, we are inspired to look toward our students' brilliant futures on this Giving Day.

Your partnership in championing our students has been and remains critical to our efforts to offer access to cutting-edge technology and facilities, hands-on learning, and robust student support services – all of which require significant resources.

At UCI, state funding accounts for about 9 percent of UCI's annual operating budget. Some of the most creative scientific investigations and innovative buildings on campus are now powered by the generosity of foundations and philanthropists.

To continue our upward acceleration to advance the American dream, transform healthcare and wellness, accelerate world-changing research, and explore the human experience, we rely on our alumni, parents, and partners' generosity.

Our goals are as ambitious as our dream-chasing, difference-making, and world-changing students, and that is why we invite you to join us on this Giving Day to help pave the way for our student's continued excellence and success.

As UCI makes great strides in its influence and prestige each year, giving back is more critical than ever, and every single dollar makes a difference. We thank you in advance for your support of the Parent and Family Campaign for Student Success this Giving Day!

"As California business owners in technology, we have long been familiar with UCI's strength in computer science. Since our son Tommy decided to attend UCI Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences, we have had the opportunity to learn so much more. UCI was the first UC to form an information and computer science school back in 2002. Today, it remains the only dedicated ICS school in the entire UC system. The great strides UCI continues to make in diverse, groundbreaking research programs present tremendous opportunities for our students. We are thrilled with the leadership programs Tommy has been nominated to participate in and recognize their invaluable role in shaping our future leaders. The holistic focus on developing students as scholars, leaders, humanitarians, and much more is truly inspiring."

"When invited to become members of the Parent Executive Board in 2019, we were honored. The last two years on PEB have taken our dedication to and respect for UCI to new levels. We are pleased to offer a dollar-for-dollar matching fund on Giving Day of up to $10,000. UCI has often been called the UC of the future. We can say with certainty, the future is here!"
