UCI Giving Day 2021

Gifts to UCI Men’s Basketball provide direct support to the program, and enable our outstanding Men’s Basketball student-athletes to excel at the highest level academically and athletically.

History of Success:

• Collin Welp became the only Anteater to be named first team All-Big West three times as well as a NABC All-District twice including first team in 2022. Dawson Baker named Big West honorable mention
• Ranked No. 1 in the country in three-point field goal defense and eighth in scoring defense in 2021-22
• Eight Big West titles, including five in the last nine years 
• Coach Russell Turner is the winningest coach in UCI history and fifth most in the Big West (242 Wins)
• UCI Retired Scott Brooks jersey #12 in 2020 to honor the legendary player and NBA coach
• UCI made its second NCAA Tournament appearance and won its first NCAA Tournament game in 2018-19
• Two Big West Tournament Championship titles
• Nine All-Americans
